On behalf of The Sport Source® I wanted to take this opportunity to present our E-College Planning Lab for your review and consideration. As a former collegiate and professional athlete, I am often asked how the college recruitment process works. This is a question I am sure you are asked on a daily basis probably more often that you realize.
My good friend Dan Kapsalis, former NCAA Compliance Director said after looking at the E-College Planning Lab that it is probably one of the best designed programs that can re-energize athletics and ensure that all student-athletes have a personalized action plan to make a smooth transition from high school to college with measurable results.
As you know college affordability is on the front burner in today’s tough economy. The estimated total annual cost of attending a private college can exceed $50,000, and for out-of-state students, the price tag for a year at a public university can surpass $40,000. While “sticker prices” are out of reach for most families our cost effective tools and resources can help families, coaches, players and parents organize and implement a self-directed approach.
Since 1989, our company has been connecting kids and colleges with tremendous success. In 2008 alonewe provided more than $94 million dollars in scholarship to help pay for a college education in 23 men’s and women’s sports. We presenting this program during the NSCAA and US Youth Conventions and it has been well received and already being implemented by organizations across the United States and Canada.
